Why We Built Black Dog Overland

Black Dog started in a garage—just a father and son wrenching on old Toyota Land Cruisers. We rebuilt them from the frame up, learning that true durability isn’t flashy—it’s in the small things most people never notice. That mindset shaped everything we do now.

We created Black Dog Overland to deliver that same trail-tested quality in a form you can wear. Every hat, patch, and piece of gear is built with the same philosophy we use on our trucks: function first, then durability, then attitude. If it doesn’t stand up to long days, rough weather, or a little hell-raising, we don’t put our name on it.
